Other people: grandparents, siblings, acquaintances – if they are listed on the list of authorised persons (which parents complete when the child starts at the after-school club or during the school year). Exceptional situations: if, exceptionally, someone other than the person usually listed is to collect the child, parents must provide a written note or inform the school in advance (usually in writing, though some accept email). Leaving alone: if a child is permitted to leave the after-school club alone, written permission from the parents stating the time is required.
